Obituary of Vonda Mainardi

Mainardi, Vonda (nee Pavia), age 99 of Wayne at rest in Paramus on October 10, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Louis E. Mainardi (1995). Loving mother of Patricia Mainardi of Brooklyn, NY and Pamela Mainardi of Hackensack. Dear sister of the late Marie DeMaio, Elsie Mazzarella, Gilda Checkley and Licia Gubitosa. Grandmother of Amy Rios, Michael DeSimone, and Ariana DeSimone. Great grandmother of Christopher, Rhys, Siara, Gabriel and Phoenix. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson for 65 years and moved to Wayne in 1983. She was a Beautician at Meyer Brothers, Paterson and a homemaker once her daughters were born. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday from 4-8 PM.
