Tea, Huy age 81 of Totowa at rest in Wayne on August 11, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Socheat (nee Norodom) Tea. Loving father of Richard Tea and his wife Mily of Totowa, Sophatra Tea and his wife Jennie of Palisades Park, Demi Thach and her husband of Atlanta, GA, Vaddey Paul and her husband of Jacksonville, FL, Selena Kung and her husband of Lowell, MA and Lasmy Tea and her husband Ronnie Hassig of San Francisco, CA. He was predeceased by a daughter. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Born in Cambodia, he came to the United States in 1982 and lived in Brooklyn, then Queens, before moving to Totowa 14 years ago. He was an employee in Chinatown, Manhattan for several years. Mr. Tea was an excellent cook and cherished time spent with his family and his grandchildren. He was a great father and grandfather and overall a compassionate person, who will be deeply missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Oceanview Cemetery, Staten Island. Friends may visit Monday 3:00 - 7:00 PM. For more information, go to www.festamemorial.com.
