Robinson, Walter J. age 71 of Paterson at rest in Wanaque on May 23, 2017. Husband of the former Eleanor Sue Moore of Sacramento, Ca. Loving Father of Kim Vogt & her husband Bob of Pompton Lakes, Lisa Robinson of Pompton Lakes and Michael Robinson & his wife Susana of Wanaque. Dear grandfather of Dana Abbott & her husband Justin, Gina Vogt, Alexis Vogt, R.J. Vogt, Michael Robinson, Samantha Robinson, and the late Alyssa Robinson (2007). Great grandfather of Aislyn Abbott. Brother of Pete Robinson and John Robinson. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson for most of his life. He was a Police Officer for the City of Paterson Police Department for 25 years before retiring in 1994. Mr. Robinson was a member of Paterson PBA Local #1 and an army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was very well read, and enjoyed watching the History Channel. He also cherished time spent with his grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 7:30 PM. Cremation will be private. Friends may visit Friday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater NJ Chapter, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834-1365 would be appreciated.
