Obituary of Eugenio Occhiuzzi

Occhiuzzi, Eugenio of Little Falls at rest in Paterson on April 11, 2017. Born in Cetraro, Prov. di Cosenzo, Italy, he came to the United States in 1947 and resided in Paterson most of his life before moving to Little Falls in 1980. Mr. Occhiuzzi was a self-employed shoe maker for US Shoe Repair, Caldwell for 40 years before retiring in 1995. He was active with the Roma Club and was a parishioner of Holy Angels R.C. Church, Little Falls. Beloved husband of the former Esterina Natale of Little Falls. Loving brother in law of Bridget Gencarelli and her husband, Giuseppe of Little Falls. Eugenio is predeceased by his brother, Angelo Occhiuzzi; his sister, Angelina Occhiuzzi; and his sister in law, Grace Occhiuzzi. Dear uncle of Anna Maria Corino & her husband, Thomas of Nutley, Denise Stampone & her husband, Andre of Florida, Pasqualina Giliberti & her husband, Gerardo of Italy, Rosa Letizia & her late husband, Antonio of Fairfield, Immacolata Montorio & her husband, Guido of Paterson, Santino Occhiuzzi & his wife, Carol of Wayne and Joseph Gencarelli of Little Falls. Grand uncle of Elizabeth Mary Corino, Andrea Stampone, Nikolas Stampone, Angela Ajdniovski & her husband, Atila, Guido Montorio & his wife, Heidi, Rosalia Letizia, Thomas Letizia & his wife, Dina, Jennifer Steiner & her husband, Kevin, Alisa Kestecher & her husband Jason, Christina Occhiuzzi and other grand nieces, grand nephews, and many great grand nieces and grand nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Holy Angels R.C.
