Gomez, Sr., Adolfo age 76 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on March 4, 2017. Beloved husband of Gladys Gomez. Loving father of Adolfo Gomez Jr. of Paterson. Dear brother of Sonia Gomez of Colombia. Born in Barranquilla, Colombia he lived in Barranquilla for 27 years before coming to the United States and residing in Paterson. He was a Chemical Engineer for Ashland Chemical, Boonton for 45 years before retiring in 2009. Adolfo was also a very involved and important member of St. John's Cathedral, Paterson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Cremation to follow at Laurel Grove Crematory, Totowa. Friends may visit Tuesday 4-8 PM.
