Obituary of Michael McSherry

McSherry, Michael age 69 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on September 9, 2016. Dear son of the late Capt. Edward F. McSherry PPD, & Daisey (nee Biber) McSherry. Brother of Kathleen Comizio & her husband Dr. Robert of Lavallette, Fr. Patrick McSherry O.F.M of Detroit & Thomas McSherry & his wife Linda of Burr Ridge, Il, Uncle & great uncle to many. He was proud to be a member of the United States Marine Corps & served three tours of duty in Vietnam. A graduate of Seton Hall University he worked in the Marketing Department for Wake Fern, Elizabeth, NJ for many years. Mr. McSherry was an avid fisherman and loved golf. For many years he was a very apt & skillful caddy, known by his friends as "Sarge" at the North Jersey Country Club, Wayne. Relatives and friends may visit Wednesday 4:00-8:00 PM at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa. Cremation will be private at the request of the family.
