Obituary of Joseph Adamo

Adamo, Joseph age 83 of Wayne at rest in Morristown on September 8, 2016. Beloved husband of Josephine (nee Barone) Adamo of Wayne. Loving father of John Adamo and his wife Denise of Hackensack and Debbie Zaros and her husband, David of Fairfield. Dear brother in law of Rose Giannotta and her husband Cosimo and Frank Barone and his wife Enza. Wonderful grandfather of Giovanni, Grace, Ella & Alexandra. Also survived by many nieces and nephews here and in Italy. Born in Pozzallo, Sicily, Italy, he came to United States in 1948 and lived in Hackensack, then Paterson, before moving to Wayne over twenty years ago. He was a Meat Manager for Grand Union, for many years before retiring. He was a member of the San Giuseppe Santa Croce Camerina Society, and was a wonderful grandfather. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, Wayne at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Monday 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM.
