Giannotta, Maria (nee Carriero) age 88 of Wayne at rest in Ridgewood on November 25, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Rocco Giannotta (1992). Loving Mother of Cosimo Giannotta and his wife Rosemary of Wayne and Angelo Giannotta and his wife Susan of Wayne. Dear grandmother of Julia Giannotta. Sister of the late Maria Camilla Danzi and the late Angelo Carriero. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Montescaglioso, Italy, she came to the U.S.A. in 1968 settling in Paterson before moving to Wayne in 1993. She was a Seamstress for a Paterson Coat Factory for nine years before retiring and becoming a Homemaker. Mrs. Giannotta was a member of the Padre Pio Club of St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson. She was a member of the Italian American Social Club of Wayne. She was in the Italian Choir at St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Paterson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, Franklin Lakes at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Paterson. Relatives and friends may visit Friday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to donate to San Rocco Church in Montescaglioso, Italy.
