Obituary of Kenneth Simone

Simone, Kenneth, age 62 of Bergenfield passed away after a short illness at Englewood Hospital on June 26, 2015. Dear son of the late Carmine and Rose (Spitale) Simone. He was the loving nephew of his late guardian Katherine Conway and his guardian Lucie Conway. He is also survived by many cousins. Born in Lyndhurst, he lived in Ringwood then moved to Orlando,Florida. After his parents passed away, he shared residency with his guardians both in Totowa and Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. He moved to a group home in Teaneck about 12 years ago and held various jobs through ARC. About 6 years ago he moved to the Bergenfield ARC group home. We would like to thank Debbie and Marie and their staffs at both group homes for their love, kindness and caring for Kenneth as if he was their own son. Kenneth was an avid football and Yankee fan. When he was younger he loved to loudly cheer his teams on while watching the games on TV. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Wednesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Lyndhurst. Friends may visit Tuesday 4-7 PM.
