Obituary of Anna E. Botbyl

Botbyl, Anna E. (nee Seibert), of Cedar Grove, age 104, just days short of her 105th birthday, at rest in Paterson on June 25, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Anthony P. Botbyl. Loving mother of Joan Islieb of Warwick, NY, and Janet Lee Saunders and her husband Amos of Totowa. Dear grandmother of Richard Saunders and his wife Florence, Pamela Saunders, Valerie Fasulo and the late Amos Saunders Jr. Adoring great-grandmother to 5 great-grandchildren. Anna is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson, then in North Haledon and Totowa before moving to Cedar Grove. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Botbyl was a member of High Mountain Presbyterian Church, Franklin Lakes. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Mountain View Chapter, Wayne. She was the past Mother Advisor of the Rainbow Girls, Paterson. She belonged to the Senior Citizens of North Haledon. She was also a former member of the North Haledon Presbyterian Church as well as the secretary of the 1st Ward Republican Club, Paterson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit Monday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the High Mountain Presbyterian Church, 730 Franklin Lake Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417 or St. Joseph's Hospital, 703 Main Street, Paterson, would be appreciated.
