Van Der Tas, Antonia "Toni" age 85 of Totowa at rest in Wayne on May 11, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Gerrit Van Der Tas (2013). Loving mother of Reini Polzer and her husband, Bill of Montville. Dear grandmother of Lisa D'Amato and her husband, Stephen of Denville. Cherished great-grandmother of Luke Avery D'Amato and twins, Sienna Grace and Kayla Hope D'Amato. Sister of Plony Van Buuren of Canada and the late Ilse Klos. Survivors include many nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Rotterdam, Netherlands, she came to the U.S.A. in 1954 residing in Totowa for most of her life. She was a Key Punch Operator for First National Bank, Totowa for many years prior to retirement. She loved going on cruises and spending time with family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday at 8 PM at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa. Cremation is private at the request of the family. Friends may visit Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of NJ, 400 Broadacres Drive, 1st Floor, Bloomfield, NJ 07003 would be appreciated.
