Colon, Juan O., age 82 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on March 31, 2015. Beloved husband of sixty one years of the former Guillermina "Gina" Ortiz of Paterson. Loving father of Elizabeth Thompson of Jim Thorpe, PA., Iris B. Phillips and her husband Gary of Tampa, FL., Raymond Colon of Morristown and Juan Carlos Colon of Paterson. Grandfather of Rachel Aue, Nicole Pagan, Nelson Phillips, Steven Phillips and Melaine Colon. Great grandfather of eight. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, he came to the U.S.A. in 1956 settling in Paterson. He was a Machinist for Bright Star, Inc., Paterson, for many years before retiring in 1991. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Relatives and friends may visit Friday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. For more information, go to www.festamemorial.com.
