Obituary of Richard C Heusser

Heusser, Richard "Richie" C. age 86 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on March 24, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Heusser. Dear brother of Helen Miller & her husband Allen of North Haledon. Richard is survived by his loving friends and caretakers, Ottie Ressegiue and Hank Tanski; Sister-in-law, Margaret La Sassa of Clifton. Survivors also include nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Richie lived in Wayne for many years. He was an employee for the Passaic County D.P.W., Paterson for over 30 years before retiring. Mr. Heusser served in the army during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 174, Wayne, as well as a member of the North Haledon Volunteer Fire Department, Company 1. He also loved to play golf. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 10:30 AM. Entombment to follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
