Szczepanski, Jennie (nee Laprezioso) age 98 of North Haledon at rest in North Haledon on February 16, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Szczepanski (1993). Loving mother of Stanley P. Szczepanski and his wife Alsandria of Totowa, Jo Ann Depew of Lanesboro, PA, Lu Ann Miller and her husband Richard of Pipersville, PA., and the late Mary Ann Rodgers. Dear sister of the late Matthew, Emanuel and Phillip Laprezioso and the late Josephine Koening, Theresa Rizio, Grace Saracco, Lucy Laprezioso, and Anne Thompson. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Born in Totowa, she lived in Totowa most all of her life before moving to North Haledon in 2006. She was a self-employed hairdresser in Totowa for many years before retiring. Mrs. Szczepanski was a member of Hawthorne Gospel Church. She also volunteered at Preakness Health Care Center for 25 years. Mrs. Szczepanski enjoyed sewing quilts. She loved her family and was always available for them. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering at the Holland Christian Home, 151 Graham Avenue, North Haledon on Saturday from 1:30-3:30 PM. Cremation was private at the request of the family. Donations in her memory may be made to the Holland Christian Home, 151 Graham Avenue, North Haledon, N.J. 07508.
