Obituary of Mary G. Card

Card, Mary G. (nee Norton) age 88 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on November 30, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Calvin Elliot Patrick Card (2004). Loving mother of Mary Ellen Fisher of Paterson and John Card of Ottawa Hills, OH. Dear grandmother of Tara C. Garcia and her husband, Ismael, of Jersey City, and Nathan and Adina Card, both of Ottawa Hills, OH. Cherished great-grandmother of Abigail Winter Garcia. Dear sister of Margaret Clement of Narragansett, RI, Dorothy Cunha of Myrtle Beach, SC, Daniel Norton of Myrtle Beach, SC and the late Helen Murphy. Born in Providence, RI she lived most of her life in Paterson. She was an Administrative Clerk for the Superintendent of Elections, Passaic County, for forty years before retiring at the age of eighty-two. Mrs. Card was the past President and member of the Rosary Altar Society at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Paterson, as well as a member of their Parents Teachers Association. In addition, she was a member of the Don Bosco Tech Hall of Fame and a Don Bosco bingo volunteer. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 8:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson at 9:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
