Castronuovo, Elvira (Nee Linfante) age 77 of Little Falls at rest in Paterson on September 20, 2014. Beloved wife of fifty six years of the late Antonio Castronuovo (2011). Loving Mother of Maria Cristofano and her husband Antonio of Totowa, Anna Tsimpedes and her husband Nestor of Ft. Meyers, FL, Gemma Marra and her husband Joe of Totowa, Michael Castronuovo and his wife Christina of Parsippany and the late Gianfelice Castronuovo (2012). Dear sister of Anna Notarfrancesco of Milano, Italy, Regina Thivoyon of France and the late Vincenza Coppola and the late Michele Linfante. Loving grandmother of eleven and great grandmother of four. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Born in Sala Consilina, Salerno, Italy, she came to the U.S.A. in 1969 settling in Paterson before moving to Little Falls in 2006. She was a Seamstress for Van Houten Coat Co., Paterson before retiring. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, Paterson. She was an avid Gardener and she loved to cook and bake for her family. She loved her family and grandchildren.. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Tuesday 4-8 PM.
