Obituary of Edward Yacopetta

Edward Eugene Yacopetta, 83 years of age, son of the late Rose Geralle, passed on Saturday August 30th, 2014 at St Josephs Regional Medical Center . He was a life time resident of Paterson , New Jersey. He was a graduate of Paterson's Central High School. Ed is survived by his nieces and nephews Michele, Debra and Michael Mallamace. Jonathon and wife Anna Mallamace. Joseph Panetta Jr. Great nephews, Jonathon Jr. and Anthony Mallamace. Cousins, John and Dawn Antonucci , also of Paterson. Brother of the late John Yacopetta, Madeline Panetta and Angela "Chickie" Mallamace. Ed was a longtime employee of Macy's. Ed was also an avid fan of the Theater and a lifetime member of the New York Catholic Actors Guild. The Graveside Service will be held on Friday September 5th 10:00 am at The Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 52 Totowa Road, Totowa NJ. A Memorial Mass will be held in his honor at Saint Gerald Majella Catholic Church at 501 W. Broadway, Paterson NJ, 7:30 pm that evening.
