Cook, Helen E. (nee Duhrkoop), age 88 of Totowa at rest in Hackensack on August 13, 2014. Born in Jersey City, she grew up in Secaucus where she met and married her husband Harold. As the family grew, they moved to Totowa where they became long-time residents. She was a full time mom and mother of two. She enjoyed spending time with her husband camping down the shore and roller skating. She had a great love for animals and flowers. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Harold Sr. (Cookie). Loving mother of Harold Jr. and his wife Patricia, and Robin McCaffrey and her husband Timothy. Loving grandmother of Jennifer McCaffrey, Wendy Croteau and her husband Eric, Daniel Cook and Christine Parsils and her husband Justin. Cherished great grandmother of Jocelyn and Evan Croteau. Also survived by other family members and dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 9:00 - 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
