Obituary of Concetta Catania

Catania, Concetta (nee Errigo) age 79 of Wayne passed away on August 11, 2014 in St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson, NJ. Concetta was born in Comiso, Italy to Biagio & Giuseppa Errigo on April 12, 1935. She arrived in the United States in 1969 and resided in Paterson for many years and afterwards relocated to Wayne, NJ. She worked as a seamstress in Paterson and was a homemaker. Concetta is survived by her two siblings, Lucia Trama and Raffaele Errigo, her one sister in law, Giuseppina Errigo, her late brother in law, Gerlando Trama, her four children, Frank Catania, Biagio Catania, Josephine Vigorito, and Marco Catania, her three daughter in laws, Angela Catania, Sue Catania, and Teresa Catania, and one son in law, Ralph Vigorito, her ten grandchildren, Jennifer, Christina, Adele, Michael, Gabriella, Alessia, Franco, Marco, Isabella, and Sofia, her four nieces and four nephews, Josephine, Robert, Mary, Marcello, Josephine, Tony, Daniela, and Luca. She belonged to the Passaic County Senior Center, Wayne and was a member of the Padre Pio Society at St. Gerard Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James RC Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM with Fr. Tom officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa.
