Obituary of Jennie Barbato

Barbato, Jennie (nee Cerrato) age 86 of Paterson at rest in Columbia, Maryland on July 14, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Barbato (2013). Loving mother of Mary Jane Barbato-Grauso and her husband Vincent of Dayton, MD. Dear grandmother of Adrienne and Kirsten Grauso. Sister of Anna Pagano and Mario Cerrato. Sister-in law of Carmela Barbato. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Montore Inferiore, Prov. di Avellino, Italy, she came to the United States in 1948 and resided in Paterson. She was a professional seamstress for the fashion houses, Jones New York and Ellen Tracy before retiring. She was a member of the Totowa Seniors Club and the I.L.G.W.U. She was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 9:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:15 AM. Entombment at Laurel Grove Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 3:00 - 8:00 PM.
