Obituary of Isabella Iaconio

Iaconio, Isabella "Lena" age 103 of Totowa at rest in Morris Township on June 30, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Frank Iaconio (1993). Loving Mother of Frank Iaconio & his wife, Lisa of Flanders. Loving Grandmother of Frank Iaconio Jr. and Jenna Iaconio. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Borgia, Prov. di Calabria, Italy, she came to the U.S.A. in 1913 settling in Paterson. She then lived in Totowa until 1994 when she moved to Flanders. She was a Seamstress for Metro Mills Interiors, Paterson and Barbizon prior to that retiring in 1974. Mrs. Iaconio was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa and was the past recording secretary for the Italian American Independent Club, Totowa. She was a former member of the Totowa Seniors and she enjoyed cooking and sewing her own clothing. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Wednesday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Childrens Hopsital, 501 St. Judes Place, Memphis, TN. 38105 would be appreciated.
