Obituary of Dwight J Walker

Walker, Dwight J. age 65 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on June 23, 2014. Born in Passaic, he lived in Clifton before moving to Wayne in 1993. He was a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, Clifton for many years before retiring in 2010. Mr. Walker was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, Wayne. He was a former member of the National Ski Patrol, Vernon. Dwight was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in Okinowa. He enjoyed gardening, playing golf, skiing, and trips to Atlantic City. Beloved husband of the former Lynne A. Woodmancey of Wayne. Dear son of Leonard Walker of Clifton and the late Nadia (nee Barna) Walker (2009). Loving Brother of Nadia Brunetto & her husband Joe of Fanwood, Douglas Walker & his wife Kathy of Hardystown, Jimmy Walker of Clifton and the late Jeff Walker (2000). Dear Uncle of Alexis Brunetto, Kimberly Moeller, Tara Gurr, Andrew Woodmancey, and Doug Walker. He is also survived by his special friend, Walter Welenc and several grand nieces, and grand nephews, and several cousins and many friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 10:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, Wayne at 11:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
