Brother of Marge Brancaccio, Leana Tropona, Mary Giannia, Louis Buono and the late Benjamin Buono. Grandfather of John Anthony Buono. For more information, go to www.festamemorial.com OBITUARY John Babe Buono age 86 of Totowa died Tuesday. Born in Garfield, NJ he lived in Totowa the past 54 years. He was a Laborer for Weny Brothers Construction Co., Paterson, NJ before retiring in 1981. Mr. Buono was a Volunteer Assistant Fire Chief for the Borough of Totowa Fire Department. He was also the Fire Inspector for the Borough of Totowa from 1985-2000. He was a WW II Army Veteran. He was predeceased by his wife: Anna (nee Padula) Buono And a brother: Benjamin Buono Survivors include: One son: John L. Buono of Totowa, NJ Three sisters: Marge Brancaccio of Elmwood Park, NJ, Leana Tropona of Lodi, NJ, Mary Giannia of Lodi, NJ One brother: Louis Buono of Pompton Plains, NJ Also survived by a grandson.
