Carroll, Roberta Marie "Bert" (nee Donnelly) age 85 of Toms River at rest in Wayne on March 8, 2010. Beloved Mother of Robert T. Carroll and his wife Karen of Kinnelon. Loving Grandmother of Rob Carroll of Australia and Marissa Carroll of Kinnelon. Dear Aunt of Patty Mc Guinness Di Zenzo and her family, Rich Mc Ginnis and his family and James Mc Ginnis and his family. Also surviving is her beloved pet dog, Maggie. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson for most of her life before moving to Toms River twenty years ago. She was a Safety Officer for the U.S. Postal Service, Paterson for many years before retiring in 1989. Mrs. Carroll was very civic minded and she was very involved in her community. She was a member of Armitage Post American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Paterson. She was on the executive board at Cedar Glen Homes, Toms River, and active in many committees. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Magnificat R.C. Church, 2 Miller Road, Kinnelon on Thursday at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Visitation will be at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Thursday at the church, from 9:30 - 10:30 AM in the Ryan Room.
