Affinito, Anthony "Tony" age 83 of Totowa at rest in Wayne on March 4, 2010. Beloved husband of the former Julia L. "Jill" Cilio of Totowa. Loving Father of David P. Affinito and his wife Cynthia of Kinnelon and Kenneth M. Affinito and his wife Marilyn of Wayne. Brother of Florence Bizzaro of Totowa. Grandfather of Christopher, Lara and Paul Affinito. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson before moving to Totowa in 1952. He was an Electrician for Universal Manufacturing Corp., Paterson, for many years. After that, he worked for Amerlux Lighting, Fairfield for ten years before retiring in 2000. Mr. Affinito was a WW II Navy veteran retired from the Naval Reserves as a Chief Petty Officer stationed at Floyd Bennett Field, Brooklyn, NY. He was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa. He was a private pilot. Aviation was his hobby. He also loved computers and electronics. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Monday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
